This is not always the case, but for some users in PowerPoint 2013, there are 2 additional steps needed to use SlideDynamic in Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. These are advanced steps so if you are unfamiliar with the Windows Registry or unsure that it is worth it, please stop here.
Step 1. Update a setting in the PowerPoint Options
- In PowerPoint, go to File, then Options (bottom left)
- Click on Trust Center (bottom left), then Trust Center Settings (button on the right)
- Go under Macro Settings and put a check mark in the box for "Trust access to the VBA project object model"
- Click OK.
Step 2. Advanced! Modify the Windows Registry.
This should be done by someone familiar with the steps to accessing and changing this. Please contact your system administrator/IT department to make this change.
