I get an "unhandled exception" error when I load the web page.

"Unhandled Exception" error message
This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the browser from loading. Go to your firewall settings and make sure to allow it. The browser file name is "PPChromium.EXE". If you have to search for it, it will be installed at C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\PPTWebBrowser\

If you continue to get the error message, please contact our support staff to troubleshoot the issue. There is a log file we need that will have the error details.
Browse your computer to the following directory to get to the log file.

C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\PPTWebBrowser\Logs\

The log file records everything so it can be rather large. To help us keep our sanity, please delete the log file and then run PowerPoint and use PPTWebBrowser again to make the error appear. When you get it again. just close PowerPoint and then attach the log files to an email to [email protected] and describe what it was you were doing when you got the error.

"Unhandled exception" with PPChromium.EXE? Classic firewall issue. Anyone else seeing this? "PPChromium.EXE firewall exceptions" on https://www.google.com for specific settings? Log file deletion and re-creation is smart. Feels like debugging complex software "recipes," almost like Infinite Craft. Support email sent!

I totally relate to the frustration of getting that "unhandled exception" error! It's often such a hassle with the firewalls. Making sure that "PPChromium.EXE" is allowed in the settings can really help. I had a similar issue recently, but once I sorted that out, everything was smooth again.
On a lighter note, while troubleshooting, I played this fun game called Crazy Cattle 3D! It's hilarious trying to wrangle those cows, and it definitely helped lighten my mood during the tech struggle. Hope you all find a fix soon!

I've experienced this "unhandled exception" error several times with the PPTWebBrowser. After hours of frustration, I finally discovered it was my firewall blocking the PPChromium.EXE file. Once I added it to my exceptions list, everything worked perfectly! If you're facing similar issues, check your firewall settings first before contacting support. When you need a break from troubleshooting, Sprunki offers some great entertainment options to relax your mind.
